Think Outside the Grid

Onsite Energy through Cogeneration / CHP & Chiller Systems

Installing an on-site energy system, such as a combined heat and power (CHP or cogeneration) system or natural gas chiller, is a great way to save money on your energy costs. However, installation requires capital and experience.  Today, with an On-Site Utility by American DG Energy, you can obtain a CHP system or an engine driven chiller for your property with no capital expenditure, no operating or maintenance costs, and no manpower requirements.

On-Site Utility

For customers seeking an alternative to the outright purchase of on-site energy systems, American DG Energy will design, install, own, operate and maintain CHP and engine driven chiller systems at your property. Using these highly efficient systems, we supply energy in the form of electricity, heat, hot water and cooling to your property at a rate guaranteed to be lower than your local utility or existing aging systems.  You receive a monthly bill, showing how much energy (kWh and therms) you used and how much money you saved relative to purchasing that same amount of energy from your local supplier or existing aging systems.

Because we own and operate the on-site energy system at your property, you pay no capital costs; you pay no operating costs; you pay no maintenance costs. You only pay for the energy that you actually use. It's that easy.

On-Site Utility

Our On-Site Utility energy solution allows you to enjoy the fiscal and global benefits of a new CHP or chiller system – efficiency, lower operating costs, reduced energy costs and decreased carbon footprint – while avoiding the drawbacks of ownership – initial capital expenditure, operating and maintenance costs and manpower requirements.

Benefits of an On-Site Utility

  • Lower energy costs - the price of energy is discounted (typically 5% to 15%) below local utility rates.
  • No capital costs - we pay for all system costs including engineering, equipment and installation.
  • No system operation costs – we pay for fuel and maintenance.
  • Reduced carbon footprint.
  • Immediate cash flow improvement.
  • Increased net income – energy savings fall to the bottom line.
  • No responsibility – the system is 100% outsourced.  You and your staff can focus on other areas.
  • Performance optimization – let our skilled experts do what they do best.
