American DG Energy Names New VP of Operations and VP of Business Development

Additions Part of Strategy to Grow Team and Business

WALTHAM, Mass. - October 7, 2008
American DG Energy Inc. (OTC.BB:ADGE), a leading On-Site Utility, offering clean electricity, heat, hot water and cooling systems, today announced Edward F. Miller has joined the management team as Vice President of Operations. The former Vice President of Operations, Stuart W. Temple, will step into the role of Vice President of Business Development.

Mr. Miller has 18 years of construction-based operations experience and in-depth knowledge of American DG Energy’s target business markets. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Miller was Vice President of Operations for JPR Mechanical in New York. As the Vice President of Operations, Mr. Miller will oversee the construction of new projects, implement scaleable operations systems and manage the Company’s growing installation base of energy systems.

Mr. Temple has extensive experience in the energy, power, business development and engineering fields and has held various positions, most recently Vice President of Operations, with the Company since 2004. In the newly created role of Vice President of Business Development, Mr. Temple will expand the Company’s revenue generation by further developing existing business relationships and managing the day-to-day activities of the sales group.
